The Les Pommiers cuvée is the result of a brand new creation by Philippe Lancelot. It comes from a mass selection of Meuniers planted in 1968 by Philippe's grandfather and father. The lieu-dit "Les Pommiers", extending over 22.77 ares, overlooks the town of Épernay and benefits from exposure to the rising sun, ideal for this delicate grape variety. Harvested at optimum maturity, this cuvée was vinified in vats and oak barrels, with minimal use of sulfur and a very light dosage to preserve the natural balance of the champagne. This extra brut vintage champagne reveals aromas of quince, hay, brioche, redcurrant and peach, offering a rich and complex tasting. Accompanying an entire meal or as an aperitif, served at a temperature between 12 and 14°C, this champagne offers a unique taste experience.
