The 2018 vintage A l'Aube de la Côte des Bar is a brut nature vintage champagne distinguished by its unique style, offering both complexity and freshness to the palate. Under the direction of Delphine Brulez, the Louise Brison house produces exclusively vintage cuvées, offered for tasting after aging for at least 6 years in their cellars. This 2018 vintage is a balanced blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay, from the Noé-Les-Mallets plots in the Aube. This terroir, close to that of Chablis, is distinguished by its clay-limestone rocks which give the champagne a generous and distinguished aromatic signature. Vinified and aged in wood for around 9 months on lees, this cuvée develops remarkable complexity. The 2018 Louise Brison vintage has a golden color with brilliant reflections and fine, regular bubbles. On the nose, this brut nature champagne reveals beautiful notes of citrus fruits, particularly grapefruit, and white fruits, offering a particular freshness and elegance. On the palate, the sensations of the nose continue with tangy notes of lemon and citrus fruits, followed by more gourmet and slightly toasted aromas in the middle of the mouth. To fully appreciate this champagne, it is advisable to open it a quarter of an hour before tasting, or even to decant it a few moments before serving. This vintage can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with seafood or raw vegetables. Serving temperature: 10°C.
