Bulles de Craie is a Blanc de Blancs champagne remarkable for its freshness and finesse. It is perfect for an aperitif or to accompany seafood. This cuvée is made from Chardonnays from the Grands Cru terroirs of Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oger, as well as the Premier Cru terroirs of Vertus and Villeneuve. Located on the Côte des Blancs, these villages are distinguished by their chalk-rich soils, which outcrop under a few centimeters of earth. This particularity provides the vine with an optimal water reserve and forces it to dive deep to feed itself. The proportion of reserve wines is relatively low, around 20%, in order to preserve great freshness. The dosage, at 8 gr/l, brings a touch of roundness and delicacy. This brut champagne has a golden, luminous and brilliant color. On the nose, floral notes and a touch of citrus are revealed, followed by more brioche nuances. On the palate, this champagne offers a fresh and lively attack, which softens in the middle of the mouth, retaining a dominant aromatic of citrus fruits. The finish is sublime, marked by delicate notes of iodine and limestone, offering a refined and mineral taste experience. Serving temperature: 9°C.
