The 2015 Blanc de Blancs from Alfred Gratien is an invitation to discover a generous champagne, rich in aromas and with real aging potential. Made from Chardonnay mainly from the prestigious Grands Crus terroirs of Avize and Cramant de la Côte des Blancs, this vintage blanc de blancs champagne embodies the excellence and quality characteristic of the House. Vinified and aged in 228-liter oak barrels, with blocked malolactic fermentation, this champagne has a luminous golden color, announcing freshness and maturity, accompanied by a fine and persistent effervescence. It was awarded the "coup de cœur" in the Guide des meilleurs vins de France. On the nose, it is open and complex, delivering initial notes of white fruits followed by gourmet aromas of brioche, butter and toast. On the palate, the attack is supple, marked by a creamy and consistent material. Its velvety texture is supported by freshness and subtle acidity, while the long finish, marked by a saline minerality, completes this sensory experience. This Blanc de Blancs cuvée pairs perfectly with delicate dishes such as langoustines, sea urchins, sweetbreads or even veal grenadin, promising an unforgettable symphony of flavors with each tasting. Served at a temperature of 9°C, it reveals all its qualities.
