The Brut Extra cuvée is a new cuvée in the Pierre Gimonnet champagne range. With a light dosage, this Blanc de Blancs champagne highlights its aromas with discretion and elegance. Pierre Gimonnet's Brut Extra is based on the same blend as the Brut 1ᵉʳ Cru Cuis, but benefits from an extended aging of an additional year (4 years), thus allowing a natural balance. The dosage, set at 4 g/l, adds just enough to reveal the aromas of the wine without dominating them. Perfectly suited for an aperitif, this cuvée meets a growing demand from purists who prefer champagnes with a low dosage ( EXTRA BRUT ) or no dosage ( BRUT NATURE ). At Pierre Gimonnet, dosage is an integral part of Champagne winemaking. The House often favors "extra-brut" over "brut nature" because a good dosage is one that is not talked about: it is present, but subtle, balanced. This “BRUT EXTRA” vintage is made possible thanks to the exceptional quality of their non-vintage brut. Serving temperature: 9°C.
