Francis Boulard Le Grand Cru Mailly-Champagne is a vintage brut nature champagne from Mailly-Champagne, a village in the Montagne de Reims classified as 100% Grand Cru. A composition that allows for a champagne in its purest expression, revealing its nudity and truth. Thus, all the elegance, finesse and balance of this cuvée are highlighted, testifying to Francis Boulard's talent as a winemaker. This Grand Cru is made from grapes from the limestone hillsides of Mailly-Champagne, a village clinging to the Montagne de Reims. This commune is one of the few whose vineyard is classified as Grand Cru, representing the highest level of the Champagne cru scale. Francis Boulard's Grand Cru Mailly-Champagne Nature is a blend of 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay, vinified partly in oak barrels and partly in vats. This champagne of character, both straightforward and authentic, is ideal as an aperitif, served at a temperature of 9°C. The Grand Cru Mailly-Champagne has obtained several distinctions: 16 / 20 Bettane & Desseauve, 93 / 100 Parker, 18 / 20 Gault & Millau, 15 / 20 Revue du Vin de France, 90 / 100 Wine Spectator and Mentionné Hachette.
