Maison De Venoge proudly presents its Prestige cuvée, the 2014 vintage “Louis XV” , made exclusively from Grands Cru grapes. This balanced composition is composed of 50% Pinot Noir, from the renowned terroirs of Verzenay and Bouzy, and 50% Chardonnay, harvested in the Grand Cru terroirs of Oger, Avize and Le Mesnil sur Oger. Malolactic fermentation is carefully avoided, thus preserving the freshness and authenticity of the wine. This cuvée pays tribute to Louis XV, the King of France who was an ardent defender of champagne at Court, and whose royal decree in 1728 allowed the marketing and transport of champagne wines in bottles. On the first nose, this brut champagne offers notes of citrus fruits that blossom, foreshadowing a rich and harmonious taste experience. On the palate, an exquisite tension subtly reveals nuances of yellow fruits, while the mineral complexity of the palate enchants the senses. The finish, of exquisite freshness, completes this memorable tasting. The 2014 Louis XV cuvée from Maison De Venoge promises remarkable aging potential, but can also be enjoyed now, whether as an aperitif or during a meal. This exceptional bottle, rare and unique (only 15,369 copies), is presented in a sumptuous box, making it a gift of choice, coveted by the most demanding champagne lovers.

THE BRAND
Founded in 1837 in Épernay by the Swiss Henry-Marc de Venoge, the Maison De Venoge occupies a privileged position in the Champagne panorama. Attached to its rich heritage and the quality of its products, it counts among its treasures the Louis XV cuvée, reserved for great years. Its name evokes the Order of May 25, 1728, signed by King Louis XV, which marked a turning point in the wine history of France by legitimizing the birth of champagne. Yvonne De Venoge, the last heir of the line, was born in 1869. She married the Marquis Adrien de Mun, a shrewd communications man, who propelled the brand in Paris to the heart of society's elite. The Maison De Venoge carries the legacy of a great dynasty. Once prized by illustrious figures such as Sarah Bernhardt and the Countess of Ségur, its champagne has since continued to garner numerous awards, confirming its exceptional quality.
