The VB 03 cuvée from Maison Elemart Robion is distinguished by its fruity and expressive character, accompanied by a beautiful minerality on the palate. This organic extra-brut champagne is ideal for a cocktail dinner or to enhance a gourmet dish. Composed of 70% Pinot Meunier, 20% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir, this cuvée comes exclusively from the Lhéry terroir, located in the Ardre Valley. The Elemart Robion vineyard, entirely converted to organic viticulture, is based on soils of sand, clay and limestone. The grapes for the VB 03 cuvée were harvested during the 2018 and 2017 harvests. The vinification took place in stainless steel vats, and the malolactic fermentation was deliberately blocked. This allows the characteristic freshness of Champagne to be preserved while finding a balance with the deliciousness of champagne. After nearly three years of maturation in the cellars of the House, this champagne is ready to be tasted. Its dosage is only 3 g/L of sugar. The color of the cuvée VB 03 is a pale gold with sustained reflections. On the nose, it immediately reveals mineral and limestone notes, which then evolve towards touches of citrus fruits, such as lemon and orange, and fruity nuances. On the palate, the attack is frank, followed in the middle of the mouth by a silky texture that exalts fruity aromas while retaining a distinctive limestone minerality. Subtly iodized, the finish lingers for a few seconds on the palate, offering a beautiful sensation. Serving temperature: 10°C.
