It was Georges Bollinger's British agent who, in 1911, came up with the name Special Cuvée, written in English and without an accent. This brut champagne is made from a blend of 25% Chardonnay, 60% Pinot Noir and 15% Pinot Meunier (over 85% Grands and Premiers Crus). BOLLINGER Spéciale Cuvée has a maturation time in the cellar more than twice as long as the rules of the Appellation. Its dosage is moderate, between 6 and 7 grams per liter.

Nose : A very beautiful aromatic complexity with aromas of ripe fruits and spices.: notes of roasted apple, compote and peach.
Palate : We find a subtle combination of structure, length and liveliness. The bubble is fine as velvet. Aromas of pear, brioche and spices, notes of fresh walnut are revealed during tasting.
