The Lalou de MUMM prestige cuvée , produced between 1966 and 1985, has captivated renowned chefs and high-ranking restaurants. This exceptional vintage champagne pays tribute to René Lalou, president of Maison Mumm from 1920 to 1973. This cuvée is revived today with the same degree of perfection, becoming a true legend. This brut champagne is the result of the seven best plots of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grands crus. It is an exceptional cuvée. The 2008 vintage, quite simply remarkable, benefits from 10 years of aging and a light dosage of 6 gr/l, which reveal aromas of great elegance and complexity. The nose reveals gourmet notes of caramel and ripe fruit. On the palate, the attack is of great depth, finding the aromatic complexity and roundness perceived on the nose. The finish reflects the quality of this exceptional champagne. The 2008 RSRV LALOU cuvée is ideal from aperitif to dessert, with roast lobster, iced nougat or Comté cheese. The 2008 vintage is fabulous, offering remarkable champagnes for laying down, perfect for special occasions. These balanced and fine champagnes combine exceptional Chardonnays, generous Pinot Noirs and high-quality Meuniers.
