THE BRAND
The wine adventure began in 1862 with Grégoire Bonnet, one of the pioneers among the growers and growers of the charming village of Chamery. In 1957, the union of André Bonnet and Monique Ponson gave birth to Domaine Bonnet-Ponson. In addition to the Chamery plots, the vineyard was enriched with Meunier lands in Vrigny and Coulommes-la-Montagne, inherited from Monique Ponson's grandfather. At that time, the vineyard extended over 9 hectares, proudly welcoming the three Champagne grape varieties. In 1979, the arrival of Thierry Bonnet, son of André and Monique, marked a new era for Champagnes Bonnet-Ponson , where he brought his expertise to the development of the cuvées. After 30 years of management, Thierry Bonnet worked to expand the vineyard by building new cellars and adding one hectare of vines from the terroirs of Chamery, Vrigny and Verzenay. In 2013, the arrival of his son, Cyril Bonnet, marked a decisive turning point for the vineyard. By converting the estate to organic farming and obtaining certification, Cyril embodies the sixth generation of winemakers in the family. He is committed to working the land in harmony with nature, combining traditional techniques with modern approaches. His commitment to the environment is reflected in the use of methods based on phytotherapy and the promotion of biodiversity.
