Guided by a constant desire for qualitative improvement and sustainable winemaking practices, Maison Roederer has created the Collection 245 cuvée. The “245” index marks the 245th blend of the House. This cuvée comes mainly from the 2020 harvest, enriched with 10% of reserve wines aged in wood and from plot selections (1/3 "La Rivière" vineyard, 1/3 "La Montagne" vineyard and 1/3 "La Côte" vineyard), as well as 35% of the House's reserve. Each year, a multi-vintage champagne is produced, always unique, but faithful to the “Roederer style”. Composed of 41% Chardonnay, 33% Pinot Noir and 26% Meunier, this cuvée is ideal for discovering the excellence of this great House. On the nose, aromas of ripe and sweet fruits as well as woody notes are revealed. On the palate, the champagne is generous, velvety and juicy, with a particularly fresh finish. Collection 245 champagne is perfect as an aperitif and also pairs perfectly with fish or shellfish throughout the meal.
