Created by Eugène Moussé, founder of the House, 100 years ago, this perpetual cuvée, started in 2003, pays tribute to the family history. First called Carte Or, then Or Tradition, and finally L'Or d'Eugène, it was renamed Eugène on the occasion of the centenary to mark the restructuring of the range. This excellent blanc de noirs is composed of 80% Meuniers and 20% Pinot Noirs, from the terroirs of Cuisles, Jonquery and Châtillon-sur-Marne in the Marne Valley. The subsoils of these plots are characterized by 20 cm of clayey topsoil, 40 cm of very draining clayey sand, 30 cm of green clay and calcareous marl. The harvest is carried out by hand in 15 kg market garden crates to preserve the integrity of the grape clusters and limit self-pressing. Malolactic fermentation is carried out and the bottles age for 18 months. Dosed Extra-Brut at 2.5 g/L, this cuvée highlights all the aromatic richness of Meunier with elegance and flavor. L'Eugène de Cédric Moussé pairs perfectly with international street food dishes such as pizza, focaccia, burgers, pita bread, samosas or cheese fritters. Serving temperature: 10°C.
