The Cuvée Royale 2015 is a vintage champagne that represents the expertise of Maison Joseph Perrier. According to Benjamin Fourmon, General President of the House, “this 2015 vintage is as complex on the palate as its harvest year, which is what makes it unique and charming.” The year 2015 had a particularly late cycle, but the radiant summer allowed for maximum sunshine and low rainfall, ideal conditions for the maturity of the Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. The autumn harvest then produced elegant champagnes with a marked freshness. This champagne combines 54% Pinot Noir and 46% Chardonnay, from the terroirs of Chouilly, Bergères-lès-Vertus, Mailly, Ambonnay and Cumières. The grapes are pressed and vinified separately, before aging for at least six years in the Maison’s cellars in Châlons-en-Champagne. After disgorging, the champagne is dosed at 3 g/L. Serving temperature: 11°C.

Founded in 1825, Maison Joseph Perrier is based in Châlons-en-Champagne, in the heart of the prestigious Champagne wine region. The Dervin saga continues to unfold today, with the arrival of Jérôme Dervin, great-grandson of Léon Dervin and son of Claude Dervin, cellar master of Maison Joseph Perrier for nearly 30 years. Aged 37, Jérôme already has an impressive career in the world of champagne. After training in Avize, he gained valuable experience working in several renowned houses in Reims, Épernay and Dizy. "At a very young age, I already shared my father's passion, without even realizing it."
