The Le Black Réserve champagne from Maison Lanson is a cuvée made from a rigorous selection of the best Champagne grapes. Composed of 50% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier, this brut champagne is distinguished by its exceptional quality. This bottle contains grapes from 100 different vintages, to which is added 45% reserve wines aged in tuns for almost 20 years. The result is a non-vintage Brut champagne, combining freshness and complexity in a harmonious way. To the eye, Le Black Réserve has a beautiful deep yellow color with golden highlights, embellished with fine bubbles. Its seductive nose reveals very fruity aromas of pear, mirabelle plum jam, strawberry, as well as notes of fern honey and almond paste. On the palate, it is creamy, vinous and gourmet, faithful to the aromas perceived on the nose, with a beautiful fruity intensity. The freshness is accentuated by touches of citrus and chalk. The Black Réserve will seduce the greatest connoisseurs. This bottle can be enjoyed now, but it can also age for several years without problem, well protected in a cellar. With great complexity, this cuvée is perfect as an aperitif, but also goes very well with a dinner, in particular with fish, roast Bresse poultry and shellfish. It was awarded 96 points out of 100 Wine Enthusiast, "non-vintage" category with the Editor's Choice mention and 16/20 Gault & Millau.
