ALFRED GRATIEN Brut Classique is the signature champagne of the Alfred Gratien house. This brut champagne offers a delicate harmony between fruity notes, gourmet aromas from the undergrowth vinification and a refreshing touch. Composed mainly of Chardonnay (46%), this cuvée seduces with its lightness and freshness. The Pinot Meunier (30%) brings its fruity liveliness and the Pinot Noir completes the whole by offering an elegant structure. It is a champagne vinified and aged with care in small 228-liter oak barrels, without malolactic fermentation. A method preserving the freshness of this Brut Classique while extending its aging potential. It is distinguished by its Brut dosage, around 9 g/l. With a light yellow color dotted with fine and lively bubbles, this champagne reveals complex aromas of biscuits, pastries and white fruits on the nose. This then evolves towards notes of citrus fruits, white flowers and fresh butter. On the palate, a frank attack gives way to chalky and mineral nuances, highlighting its lightness and freshness. Its clean and long finish completes this sensory experience. This Brut Classique cuvée is the ideal accompaniment for an aperitif dinner, especially with savory or sweet petits fours. Served at a temperature of 9°C, it offers a most enjoyable tasting to share with friends or family.
